Approximately 20"x16", this piece is a mixed-media painting on canvas. Sides are painted, so the original is ready to hang without a frame.

Roots are a powerful image for me. They make me think of the veins in the body, the passageways of the lungs, the neural pathways in the brain, and upside-down trees.

In this piece, there is listening to the earth happening. Quiet, thoughtful listening. But it also relates to listening to yourself, to your own still, small, inner voice. Our inner worlds can be so rich, so complex, that it's important to take time to slow down, be still and listen in to what they have to say.

High quality prints available. Printed on professional grade fine art paper with a white border for framing. Regular prints are 13"x19" and small prints are 8.5"x11". Framed prints are matted and framed in a simple, black 16"x20" frame.
