Memory Tree

In this piece, I'm exploring memory and diseases of the brain that take memories away. The brain's pathways often remind me of a tree's branches, in this case it relates to my family tree, as my grandmother has Alzheimer's Disease. Encaustic (wax), transfers and oil stick on cradled clayboard, 12"x12".
